We start with a full property walkthrough to assess drainage, grading, and existing ground conditions. Old gravel, rocks, and debris are cleared and graded to ensure a flat, stable foundation — the most critical step for a long-lasting result.
Once cleared, the ground is leveled and compacted to eliminate low spots and bumps. Proper compaction prevents settling over time and gives the turf a clean, even surface that looks professional and drains correctly after rain.
A commercial-grade weed barrier is laid across the entire area to prevent future growth. A decomposed granite or crushed aggregate sub-base is then applied and compacted — this layer provides proper drainage and acts as the structural foundation for the turf.
The synthetic turf is rolled out, precisely cut to fit your space, and secured with nails and staples along the perimeter and seams. All seams are carefully aligned so they're invisible — the finished product looks like one continuous, seamless lawn.
Silica sand or crumb rubber infill is spread evenly across the turf surface and brushed in to weigh down the fibers, provide cushioning, and give the lawn a natural upright appearance. The turf is then power-brushed to ensure every blade stands tall and the surface looks lush.
